I sit here thinking about the women God has put in my life. These women are amazing to me. Some have gone to heaven, some God has called to greater purpose, others He has brought back into my life, and some have left for reasons I may not totally understand. Then we have those amazing friends who stick with us through it all.

Every single one of my friends has touched my heart in ways that I know could have only come from God. So I humbly go before Him with questions and praise; I ask why he would bless me with so many wonderful women.

Far too often throughout my life I have questioned why God wants me here and what my purpose is. You see, I do not believe any of us are here by accident. God has a plan for each and everyone of us, even when we do not understand it, myself included.

Proverbs 3:5 says “ Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.” So if I can not rely on my own understanding then I must go to “His Word” for truth. He has planted a “seed of need” inside our soul so we can grow, improve, and gravitate towards Him spiritually and mentally. When this does not happen we feel like a piece of the puzzle is missing. There is a void in our life. God made himself a very necessary part of human happiness. Life does not make sense until He is included in our lives.

I also think the “God-connection” is a bridge between success and failure. Success begins with your own awareness of your worth in God’s eyes. God invested in you and me even before we were born by giving each of us special gifts and talents. He is saying “ YOU ARE SOMEBODY.” You are here for a purpose, designed for a reason. We all are important to Him and no one is here by accident.

God wants us to connect; connect to Him and to others. He has put people in our lives to fulfill His purpose for our happiness. I truly believe none of these women have crossed my path without God’s divine purpose in mind. So if you ever doubt your purpose in life look to “His Word” for truth. Remember God will send someone your way to bless you and and to encourage you to become the person He intended you to be all along. Matthew 18:20 says “ For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.”
