We are excited to host another Ladies Event. The theme for this event will be "My One Word". This event is one of our most popular events each year and has always sold out. We are excited that New Pointe Community Church Dover Campus has graciously extended the use of their facilities for this event. This greatly increases our availability for our event.
The event will include light breakfast, drinks, sign painting, and various other fun activities throughout the morning. This is the perfect opportunity to invest and invite or simply enjoy a morning with your friends, family or Small Group.
We are so blessed to have Pastor Brenda Mason Young once again share an encouraging message about the One Words she has focused on in previous years and how God used the lens of this One Word to grow her in specific ways. Pastor Brenda formerly the Lead Pastor at Cornerstone Church in Akron, OH and currently the Discipleship Pastor . She has been such an inspiration to so many of us whether you have attended Cornerstone Church, heard a previous message from her at another event, or follow her on Facebook.
At the event we will each be painting a "My One Word" shelf sitter sign, which will be approximately 3.5 x 8". The boards will be pre-stained in the color shown in the sample. We will each stencil our boards in white during the event. Each board will also have clip to attach in a pre-drilled hole. A verse card will also be included to write out your verse of the year.
You will need to enter your one word when you register. Your One Word should be represent a personal change or spiritual formation you would like to focus on in 2022. Your One Word becomes the lens through which you examine your heart and life for an entire year (Mike Ashcraft, My One Word).
The event will be held the Velocity Room at New Pointe Community Church - Dover Campus. When you arrive at the top of the hill of the church, please drive around the rear entrance. You will park in the rear parking lot and enter through the doors. Velocity room is the first room to the left once you enter through the doors.
Please note we will open the doors to the room at 9AM. From 9AM until 9:30 AM we will allow time to eat and fellowship with each other. We will begin structured activities at 9:30 AM.
The cost is minimal (only $5) as our purpose is to create an environment for you to unwind from your busy schedules, have fun, and build relationships. Please do not let the minimal cost fool you, the event will be worth much more!
Tickets will be limited.
Advance registration is required, so that we can have all of the supplies and refreshments available for you.
